What’s on offer?
- Free registration: Experience EANM’26 over 4 enriching congress days, either on October 17-20, 2026, or on October 18-21, 2026. Check out the Preliminary Programme to identify your scheduling preferences.
- Free accommodation: EANM will be booking a hotel room and will be covering your accommodation costs for 3 nights (breakfast will be included).
- Opportunity to meet the nuclear medicine community: Dive into the latest nuclear medicine advancements, discover the newest industry advancements, and expand your professional network!
Who can apply?
- Age requirement: You must be 38 years old or younger at the time of your application. Applications from applicants over 39 will not be considered. Please note that a copy of your passport or ID showing your date of birth will be required.
- Interest: Display a keen interest or active engagement in nuclear medicine, regardless of your current role or academic path.
- Origin: There are no geographical limitation or citizenship requirements. Any young student or professional interested or specialised in nuclear medicine is strongly invited to apply.
- Selection: The selection will be conducted through a raffle system (no first come-first served policy).
- Commitment to diversity: We will carefully review the outcomes of our randomised selection process to ensure a broad representation of attendees. Considerations will include academic background, gender, and nationality. This approach is designed to enrich the variety of perspectives and encourage a dynamic and insightful exchange among participants.
Disclaimer for previous recipients: If you were selected in previous years, please do not apply again to give others a chance. Applications from previous Next-Gen recipients will not be considered for the raffle. Thank you for your understanding!
What you will need to do:
- Cover additional expenses: EANM will not cover any costs beyond the complimentary congress registration and three nights of accommodation (including breakfast). This means that participants are responsible for their travel to and from Vienna, as well as for meals and any other expenses,
- Organise your trip to Vienna: Each Next-Gen recipient will have to organise and cover the costs of their trip on their own or through external funding opportunities. However, our team will be available to assist you with your visa application should you need a visa to travel to Austria (you can write us at registration@eanm.org.).
- Make sure you can make it to Vienna: If you are unable to attend, please notify the EANM Executive Office immediately so that your hotel room can be allocated to another young professional.
Important dates:
- Opening: The application portal will be launched on April 7, 2026.
- Application deadline: You will be able to apply until May 3, 2026 (23:59 CEST). Late submissions will not be considered.
- Confirmation: The selected applicants will be notified of their acceptance on May 18, 2026. If you are not selected, you will still be able to register to our congress as a regular participant.
- Get your transportation tickets: Book your journey to Vienna once your participation is confirmed!
