FEBNM Exam
UEMS/EBNM: Certificate of Fellowship of the European Board of Nuclear Medicine
The European Board Certificate in Nuclear Medicine proves that the candidate’s knowledge and ability in Nuclear Medicine meet European standards.

The FEBNM 2026 exam consists of two parts:
- MCQ exam (written part, onsite online MC)
- Oral exam (oral part, onsite in person)
Dates for the upcoming FEBNM exam
2026 | October 16, 2026 – Austria Center Vienna (ACV) | MCQ Exam online, onsite
2026 | October 16 & 17, 2026 – Austria Center Vienna (ACV) | Oral Exam, onsite
This year both parts will be held on-site at the EANM’26 Annual Congress in Vienna on October 16-17, 2026.
Deadline for application: May 03, 2026.
Due to limited seats for the exam, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to participate, please contact the UEMS/EBNM secretariat via: office@uems.eanm.org
Please be aware that both parts of the FEBNM Exam need to be done within 3 years! Should the time between the successful MCQ Exam and the Oral Exam be longer than 3 years, you need to redo the MCQ Exam!
Detailed information about the exam, format and rules will be announced to the candidates via email in due time.
FEBNM exam fees:
2026 | MCQ Exam only – € 250
2026 | MCQ Exam and Oral Exam – € 600
Special FEBNM exam fees:
2026 | Oral Exam only (only possible if the MCQ Exam was passed in 2025-2023) – € 350
2026 | MCQ Exam Retake Fee (second try MCQ Exam) – € 200
2026 | Oral Exam Retake Fee (second try Oral Exam) – € 300
Kindly note that in case of a cancellation the following cancellation fees apply:
- Early Cancellation Fee (until May 10th, 2026) for FEBNM 2026 Exam: € 50
- Cancellation Fee up to 1 month prior to exam: € 100
- Cancellation Fee from 1 month prior to the exam until the exam day: 50% cancellation fee
